Subject: Change to No Parking on La Manda Drive
Hello,
I realize that I'm late in getting this out. I hope that all of you have an opportunity to review prior to
this evening's meeting.
I'm unable to make the meeting due to a prior commitment, however, would like to make these
comments. I am one of the new owners at the homes at the end of La Manda Drive. We didn't
realize until after we moved in that all of the parking in front of the 4 new houses was no parking.
We spoke with several neighbors on Hilltop Circle to understand why this was and found out it was
primarily due to parking from the high school. By requesting the modification for school hours, we
feel that this is a good compromise. The fire department came out and measured the street and
even with cars parked on one side there is plenty of room for emergency vehicles to get through, not
to mention there is an alternative way to reach the north end of Hilltop Circle
I ask that you approve the change to the no parking zone as requested.
Thanks in advance for your consideration.
Best Regards,
Sandy Marlin
