GRANT OF EASEMENT
PEDESTRIAN TRAIL
Recording Fee: Exempt
LAWRENCE C, SHERIFF AND MARIA E. SHERIFF (hereinafter "GRANTOR")
hereby grants to CITY OF POWAY (hereinafter "GRANTEE") its successors, or
assigns, the following described easement for use by the public as a
pedestrian trail,
Said easement of right-of-way lands is particularly described on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, Said
easement is depicted on Exhibit "B" attached hereto,
Said easement shall not be used by motorized vehicles. GRANTEE shall
exercise its best efforts to prohibit such use,
Said grant of easement shall in no way interfere with the GRANTOR's
Fights to the enjoyment of the use of said land for any purpose and in any
manner not interfering with, or otherwise inconsistent with, the pedestrian
trail use granted hereby.
Providing that GRANTEE does not modify or interfere with the trail
use, it shall be a condition of said easement that GRANTEE shall defend,
indemnify, and hold harmless GRANTOR from any and all liability arising
from the use of said easement by the public,
Said easement shall run with the land and shall be binding upon the
heirs, executors, successors, and assigns of the respective parties hereto,

PEDESTRIAN TRAIL EASEMENT DEDICATION
That portion of Lot 166 of Golden City Unit No.2, in the City of Poway,
County of San Diego, State of California according to Map thereof No. 7066, filed in
the office'of the County Recorder of San Diego County on September 28, 1971, being
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most Westerly corner of said lot 166, said point being also on
the boundary of said Map No. 7066; thence North 21034'54" East along said
boundary, 67.64 feet to the most Northerly corner of said lot; thence continuing
along said boundary and along the Northeasterly line of said lot South 76020'00" East
78.00 feet; thence leaving said boundary and lot line South 57040'00" West, 73.15
feet; thence South 24040'00" West, 14.65 feet to the Southwesterly lot line
thereof; thence along said Southwesterly lot line North 76020'00" West, 33.71 feet
to the Point of Beginning.
