ITEM 3
CHILD CARE NEEDS SURVEY
Item introduced by City Manager Bowersox. The 1989-90 budget included funds to
conduct a survey of child care needs and staff proposes that SANDAG perform the
work. Staff report by Director of Planning Services Wright-Quastler. The City
of Carlsbad has done a similar survey and staff feels that their four surveys of
residents, employees of businesses in the industrial park, home-care providers,
and day care center providers could easily be adapted to Poway.
