I too agree it has been an eyesore for a number of decades, mainly due to the lack of movement on the councils part, however now that movement is in the air, what to do with this property really should be discussed out in the open so that all relevant ideas & options are set forth ... I for one, never wish to see a one of these beautiful 100 yr old oak trees in this rare oak grove cut down to make way for just another semi-affordable housing apartment complex ... The residents in this area are well aware that the Poway council lacks the wherewithal to manage the current number of area apartments and resulting overflowing parking issues caused by these apartments, of which migrate into surrounding residential neighborhoods and restrict exit visibility specifically from our individual neighborhood! Historic means Historic, how does one simply wash that away with a council vote, Poway has few structures left with the unique historic architecture of the Old Stone lodge, what a shame to simply bulldoze it...! You can be better than that! Sincerely, Steven Michael Gardner gardnergallery .com (858)748-7417 2 of 2 September 17, 2019, Item #6.1
