General Plan Amendment 19-002 and Zone Change 19-002; a
request to change the General Plan land use designation and Zoning
designation of parcels, or portions thereof, to the Open Space
Resource Management Zoning designation.
Item 3.3 pertains to the change of General Plan land use designation and zoning designation to
Open Space-Resource Management (OS-RM) for parcels or portions thereof where a biological
conservation easement (BCE) exists or where the City purchased the property for open space
preservation. Staff received an inquiry from one property owner questioning the existence of the
BCE on his property. While it was confirmed that the City has a recorded BCE on a portion of this
property, it is recommended that this one property be removed from the General Plan and Zoning
action with this item to allow staff the time to meet with the property owner and discuss his
concerns.
It is recommended that parcel number 277-201-11-00 (14480 Cheyenne Trail) be removed from the
Resolution and Ordinance for this item.
