The May 24, 1990, meeting of the City Council of the City of Poway,
adjourned from the May 22, 1990, regular meeting, was called to order at 4:35
p.m. by Mayor Higginson at the City Council Chambers, 13325 Civic Center Drive,
Poway, California.

MOBILE HOME PARK STANDARDS FOR HALEY PROPERTY
Staff report by City Manager Bowersox. At the April 3, 1990 meeting, Council
requested staff report back regarding proposed development standards for the
65-unit mobile home park south of Poway Creek and east of Community Road. Staff
has met with the current residents of Haley Trailer Ranch and the developer of
the new park to discuss standards and amenities for the new units. Staff recom-
mends that each unit be provided with two car garages, concrete tile roofs,
grade level foundations, stoves, ovens, garbage disposals, washer and dryer,
dishwasher, refrigerator, carpeting and drapes.
Council discussion included the necessity that the park eventually come under
public ownership through the Redevelopment Agency's option to acquire the mobile
home park, and that the units remain affordable.

Council concurred with City Manager Bowersox's recommendation that Haley Creek
be incorporated into the park's name and the possiblity of an inpark street
being named Haley.
