RESOLUTION NO. 05-056
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
COMMENDING GIRL SCOUT GOLD AWARD RECIPIENT
ALLISON CHRISTIAN
WHEREAS, Allison Christian has fulfilled requirements in the areas of leadership,
organization, and career exploration; and
WHEREAS, Allison Christian has completed 4 interest projects in various social,
recreational, and vocational skills, which signify the mastery of Girl Scout skills; and
WHEREAS, Allison Christian has earned the Senior Girt Scout Leadership Award
by giving 30 hours of service in two or more leadership activities; and
WHEREAS, Allison Christian has earned the Career Exploration Pin, which helps
girts to discover their career interests; and
WHEREAS, Allison Christian has completed the Senior Girt Scout Challenge,
which helps the girts to put Promise and Law into action; and
WHEREAS, Allison Christian has completed the Girl Scout Gold Award project
which requires at least 50 hours of work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Poway hereby commends Girt Scout Allison Christian for her efforts and achievements
in Girl Scouting.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
at the regular meeting this 2151 day of June 2005.
