RESOLUTION NO. 05-077
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
ESTABLISHING THE FIRE PROTECTION TAX, THE STREET AND WATER
AND SEWER ASSESSMENTS, AND THE ROAD IMPROVEMENT ASSESSMENTS
TO BE COLLECTED ON THE PROPERTY TAX ROLL
FOR FISCAL YEAR 2005-2006
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway desires to have the Fire
Protection Tax and Street and Water and Sewer Improvement Assessments, and Road
Improvement Assessments collected on the property tax rolls; and
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the Poway City Council, the amounts to be
collected have been set forth in a public report, the public has been allowed to comment
on these amounts, and this action has been duly advertised as required by law; and
WHEREAS, this action is authorized by the laws of the State of California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
as follows:
Section 1. That the sum of not-to-exceed $621,000.00 shall be collected on the
property tax roll in the form of a Fire Protection Special Tax of $3.12 per point as
authorized by Ordinance No. 476 of the City of Poway.
Section 2. That the sum of $46,374.40 is required to be collected for the payment of
principal and interest on bonds issued for the benefit of Assessment District 96-1 (High
Valley Road) for the construction of improvements on High Valley Road. This sum shall
be collected on the 2005-2006 San Diego County Tax Rolls to provide for the payment
of interest and principal of said bonds at maturity.
Section 3. That the sum of not to exceed $30,000.00 is required to be collected for
the payment of principal and interest on bonds issued for the benefit of Assessment
District 2001-1 (Old Coach Road Water Line) for the purpose of financing the purchase
of certain water line improvements in the Old Coach Road area. This sum shall be
collected on the 2005-2006 San Diego County Tax Rolls to provide for the payment of
interest and principal of said bonds at maturity.
Section 4. That the sum of $9,950.04 is required to be collected for repayment of the
Avenida Florencia sewer improvement neighborhood loan program. This sum shall be
collected on the 2005-2006 San Diego County Tax Rolls to provide for the payment of
interest and principal of said loan.

Section 5. That the sum of $8,486.32 is required to be collected for repayment of the
Old Espola Road sewer improvement neighborhood loan program. This sum shall be
collected on the 2005-2006 San Diego County Tax Rolls to provide for the payment of
interest and principal of said loan.
Section 6. That the sum of $2,468.76 is required to be collected for repayment of the
Jerome Drive street improvement neighborhood loan program. This sum shall be
collected on the 2005-2006 San Diego County Tax Rolls to provide for the payment of
interest and principal of said loan.
Section 7. That the City Clerk is instructed to forward a certified copy of this
resolution to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors and the Auditor/Controller of the
County of San Diego.
