Vantage Point Signage Variance
Variance Request
•Allow four additional wall signs (two on each building) and
three additional freestanding signs at Vantage Point
•Both buildings are occupied by an Amazon distribution center
•Four wall signs and two freestanding have been approved and
installed
Single-Tenant Buildings
•One wall sign allowed per street frontage or parking lot, not to exceed two per building.
•Up to four percent of the building face, not to exceed 150 sq. ft. per sign.
Multi-Tenant Buildings
•Each tenant allowed one sign per street or parking area frontage, not two exceed two signs per tenant.
•Up to four percent of the building face, not to exceed 100 sq. ft. per sign.

Proposed Freestanding Sign Location
•The site is exceptionally large at 38.8 acres.
•The buildings are exceptionally large (533,950 sq. ft.) for a
single-tenant. 14500 building is 1,294 feet long and 14400
building is 926 feet long.
•Single tenants, in comparison to multi-tenants, are not
permitted equitable signage for large sites and building areas.
Special Circumstances Applicable to the Subject Property
•The site is a through lot and corner lot with three street
frontages and driveway entrances.
•The site is 40 to 50 feet higher than adjacent street grade
levels and the existing walls signs are not readily visible from adjacent streets.
•Other large sites with a single tenant have been granted
variances. In February 1999, Geico received approval to add a third wall sign.
