This property was deeded to the City by the County on incorporation and has a reversionary clause if it ceases to be used for its original purpose. There are geological problems with the site and the city's intention was to have it function as a detention basis and remain in passive open space. George Hice, 14235 Horizon Court, Poway presented a conceptual plan and showed a video of a putting golf course in Vacation Village in San Diego. Council stressed the potential geological problems on this property and the need to research that thoroughly.
