CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Vaus called the Regular Meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

8. Capital Improvement Program Update
City Engineer Melody Rocco introduced the item.

Senior Civil Engineer Henry Trang presented the report along with a PowerPoint presentation
regarding updates to the status of projects with the current Capital Improvement Program
(CIP) since the last update to Council on October 20, 2020.
Ms. Rocco presented an update on the progress of the Mickey Cafagna Community Center
and further explained that staff anticipated to have it open to the public in May, and that the
project remains within budget.
No speakers.
Council discussion ensued regarding the Espola Road Safety Improvement Project.
Additionally, Council inquired about future adaptive signal technology and expressed
appreciation to staff for their hard work on the Mickey Cafagna Community Center.
This was an informational item. No action was taken.

At the request of City Attorney Alan Fenstermacher, Mayor Vaus adjourned the meeting into
Closed Session at 7:48 p.m.
City Council came out of Closed Session at 7:57 p.m.
