MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
FEBRUARY 6, 1993
The February 6, 1993, meeting, adjourned from the February 4, 1993,
adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Poway, was called
to order at 11:00 a.m., by Mayor Higginson at the City Council Chambers, 13325
Civic Center Drive, Poway, California.

SCRIPPS POWAY PARKWAY ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW/DESIGN
SYCAMORE CANYON ROAD TO HIGHWAY 67
Council and staff left the City Council Chambers to tour the alignments being
studied for Scripps Poway Parkway from Sycamore Canyon Road to Highway 67 which
were presented at the February 4, 1993 City Council workshop. Transportation
Advisory Committee members who also toured were Randy Wilkins, Pamela Meyer, Tim
Seipel, Bill Hickey, Betty Rexford, Rod Nelson and Neville Bothwell.
Mark Weston, Director of Engineering Services; Gordon Dobler, Senior Civil
Engineer and Jim Nessel, Senior Planner, reviewed the project and environmental
issues with the City Council at four stops: one at the future intersection of
Scripps Poway Parkway and Sycamore Canyon Road; one at the entrance to Goodan
Ranch to see the alignment of Route D and the impact it would have on existing
homes; one on the ridge between B and D and the fourth in the canyon proposed
for B.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Higginson adjourned the meeting in the field at 12:48 p.m.
