RESOLUTION NO. 06-032
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
COMMENDING EAGLE SCOUT KEVIN ANDREW SMITH
WHEREAS, Kevin Andrew Smith has fulfilled requirements in the areas of
leadership, service, and outdoor skills; and
WHEREAS, Kevin Andrew Smith has advanced through the ranks of Scout,
Tenderfoot, 2nd Class, 1st Class, Star, Life, and Eagle; and
WHEREAS, Kevin Andrew Smith has obtained 21 merit badges in various
educational, community-oriented, and sporting activities, which signify the mastery of
Scoutcraft skills; and
WHEREAS, Kevin Andrew Smith has completed the community service project
demonstrating participatory and leadership skills within his patrol andlor troop.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Poway
hereby commends Eagle Scout Kevin Andrew Smith for his efforts and achievements in
Scouting.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway at
the regular meeting this 2nd day of May 2006.
