Order No. 21-034 CITY OF POWAY REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Poway, California will accept sealed proposals at the Public Works Administration Office, 14467 Lake Poway Road, Poway, CA 92064 until 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2021. Proposals shall be submitted in plain, sealed envelopes, marked on the outside with the project title: CLEARWELL REPLACEMENT PROJECT RFP 21-032. This RFP is issued to invite qualified Consultants to submit proposals to provide professional engineering services for the design of the Clearwell Replacement Project. The project consists of the design for construction of two (2) 4.0 million gallon (minimum size) partially buried prestressed concrete tanks and appurtenant facilities for the City of Poway. The concrete tanks will replace the City’s existing Clearwell Reservoir Facility. The project will also include the following: demolition and removal of the existing floating cover; liner and overflow structure; various pipeline improvements and valve replacements; removal of the Temporary Bypass System; and site restoration.
