Comments on ReRuns ReSale Shop Public Hearing

My name is Rob Kohler, and I live at 13005 Corte Susana in Poway with my wife Christine.
We want to comment on the proposed ReRuns ReSale Shop being proposed for 12511 Poway
Rd. We are strongly against approving this conditional use permit. These businesses are not
the kind of retail establishment that Poway should be approving along Poway Rd. They are
generally an eyesore, and do nothing to improve the overall retail blight that exists along this
stretch of Poway Rd. They generally do not drive new consumer business to the area, and will
not be significant sales tax generators. Poway should be redeveloping Poway Rd. not
approving these marginal businesses.
Again, our opinion is for the City Council to vote NO to approve this permit application.
