This action will accept the project as complete. Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council: (1) Accept the Railroad Track Repair Project as complete; and (2) Authorize the City Clerk to file and record the Notice of Completion. Discussion: The project consisted of raising and tamping of ties at low spots, installation of 22 replacement ties, and installation of one headblock tie. The project was sole-sourced due to its specialized nature and was executed by the City Manager in accordance with PMC Section 3.28.120. There were no change orders, and the final contract amount is $15,474.31. Environmental Review: This action is not subject to review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
