RESOLUTION NO. 06-088
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
AMENDING THE SALARY AND BENEFIT PLAN FOR THE MANAGEMENT,
SUPERVISORY, PROFESSIONAL AND CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES
AND AMENDING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN
THE CITY AND THE CALIFORNIA TEAMSTERS LOCAL 911 REPRESENTING THE
NON-SAFETY EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, it is necessary to designate the salaries and benefits of the
management, supervisory, professional and confidential employees of the City of Poway
and the Memorandum of Understanding between the City and the California Teamsters
Local 911 representing the non-safety employees of the City of Poway; and
WHEREAS, the salaries of certain classifications in the salary and benefit plan
adopted by Council on May 18, 2004 by Resolution No. 04-037 need to be adjusted; and
WHEREAS, the salaries of certain classifications in the Memorandum of
Understanding adopted by Council on May 18, 2004 by Resolution No. 04-036 need to be
adjusted; and
WHEREAS, the City has considered the management, supervisory, professional
and confidential employees, and the non-safety employees, and wishes to amend the
salary and benefit plan and the Memorandum of Understanding, respectively.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ofthe City of Poway as
follows:
1. The salaries of those classifications shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto and made
a part hereof, are hereby approved, effective the first full pay period of July 2006.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway at a
regular meeting this 14th day of November 2006.
