RESOLUTION NO. 06-095
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
COMMENDING EAGLE SCOUT
JORDAN PRESTON
WHEREAS, Jordan Preston has fulfilled requirements in the areas of leadership,
service, and outdoor skills; and
WHEREAS, Jordan Preston has advanced through the ranks of Scout, Tenderfoot,
2nd Class, 151 Class, Star, Life, and Eagle; and
WHEREAS, Jordan Preston has obtained 21 merit badges in various educational,
community-oriented, and sporting activities, which signify the mastery of Scoutcraft skills;
and
WHEREAS, Jordan Preston has completed the community service project
demonstrating participatory and leadership skills within his patrol and/or troop.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Poway
hereby commends Eagle Scout Jordan Preston for his efforts and achievements in
Scouting.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway at
the regular meeting this 5th day of December 2006.
