RESOLUTION NO. 07-018
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
TO ADOPT THE EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLAN (EOP) AND
THE EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER (EOC) HANDBOOK
WHEREAS, Poway adopted the first EOP and accompanying EOC Handbook in
1983; and
WHEREAS, the documents received minor updates in 1988; and
WHEREAS, the San Diego County Operational Area drafted its first EOP and
requested all of the 18 incorporated cities emulate them.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway as
follows:
Section 1. The Emergency Operations Plan and the Emergency Operations
Center Handbook be adopted.
Section 2. That the City Manager or the City Manager's designee is authorized to
approve minor changes to the Emergency Operations Plan and the Emergency Operations
Center Handbook.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway at a
regular meeting this 20th day of February, 2007.
