Poway, CA 92064 (APN: 3148202400), has an active Code Compliance violation. Specifically, an existing dwelling unit was encroaching over a shared property line between two lots that are owned by you, and the building remains partially deconstructed, with expired building permits. Due to the scope of the remodel work that extended beyond the allowable limits of the issued permits in order to maintain its legal, non -conforming status to the encroached setback, the property was placed under a Stop Work Condition. Subsequently, the permits expired. From thereafter, you were required to demolish the building under a demolition permit, or complete a property line adjustment to resolve the setback encroach, then resume the remodel of the original dwelling unit under new permits. Despite numerous correspondence efforts with you, including Notice of Violation letters, Notice and Order, and fines issued to you, your property remains in non-compliance. This letter is to inform you that a Notice of Violation on Real Property document will be recorded against the title record for the affected property with the Office of the County Recorder. In the event that you bring your property into compliance with the Poway Municipal Code, the City would initiate the necessary process to release the violation from the title record of the property.
