The first day of Winter Registration was a big success! Overall registrations were up 43% over last year, largely due to Community Park activities such as Kid’s Night Out and Teen Programs.
Revenue was up by 5%.
MET2 celebrated more than 30 years of performances at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts (PCPA) with a wonderful week of “The Music Man”. Two days of school performances for 602
students were followed by two public performances for 822 patrons. Theatre staff provided the full range of services including administrative preparation, technical support, box office
services, and front of house concession/bar and usher volunteers – a true Team PCPA effort!
Old Poway Park played host to The Train Song Festival on November 5. Families enjoyed musical entertainment, model train displays, and of course train rides! The Museum, Nelson House,
Boardwalk Craft Market, and Farmers Market were also available to round out the fun.
It was a wild time at Community Park's FREE In The Park Series event! Participants trekked through different safari adventures seeking hidden Animals in the Wild. There's no "lion"
about it: fun was definitely had by all!
54 participants were treated to a bountiful harvest of fun at the Kid’s Night Out on November 4. Participants played corny games, crafted wonder-fall goodies, and gobbled up pizza and
pumpkin patch pudding cups!
