Meetings I Regular City Council meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Meetings I Regular City Council meetings are held in the Council Chambers located at 13325 Civic Center Drive, Poway, CA 92064, the Council Chamber will be open to the public. Public participation is encouraged in a number of ways as described below. Members of the public may attend the City Council meeting in person, watch the City Council meeting live online, or participate remotely via Zoom. Regular City Council meetings are broadcast live on Cox Communication Channel 24 and Spectrum Channel 19. Council meeting videos are archived and available for viewing on the City's website. IN-PERSON SPEAKERS: Persons wishing to address the Council on matters not on the agenda may do so under Public Comment. Those wishing to speak on items on the agenda may do so when the item is being considered. Please submit a Speaker's Slip to the City Clerk prior to the meeting or the announcement of the item. All comments will be limited to three (3) minutes. Conditional Use Permit (CUP) 20-004 and Development Review (DR) 20-005; a request to construct and operate a three-story 36-room hotel on a 1.23-acre vacant lot located on 14082 Stowe Drive; APN: 323-481-19-00 and determination that the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15332 City Manager's Recommendation: It is recommended the City Council take public input, close the public hearing, and adopt the Resolution approving CUP 20-004 and DR 20-005 for the construction of a three-story 36-room hotel and determine that the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15332. STAFF REPORTS: 8.
