Clearwell Bypass Project • Enables the replacement of the existing 10-million-gallon water storage reservoir• Two temporary steel tanks are required for water storage• A pump station is required to pump water to the tanks• Temporary 24” above-ground piping and pressure regulating station is required to move water to and from the tanks• Permanent 36” below-ground pipeline is required to move water into the distribution system• Construction: Sept. 2021-Sept. 2022• Construction Contact: $7.3M• Final Contract Amount: $7.6M• Change Orders: 4.2%• Total Project Savings: $800,000

Poway Treated Water Facilities and Redundant Pipeline Project• Treated water conveyed to the Clearwell tanks via a new 36” transmission pipeline, pump station and forebay tank• The 36” pipeline will also improve redundancy for Poway’s water distribution systemStatus:• Basis of Design Report: Completed• 50% Design: Spring 2023• Bidding: Winter 2024• Construction: Summer 2024-Winter 2026
