Please confirm receipt of this email, the attached presentation and confirm that the City is prepared to present this information while I speak during the 3-minute Public Comment period. Let me know if there are any other specific directions to present I must be aware of. Regards, Ray Jalisi 2 of 18 May 2, 2023, Public Comment Mr. Vaus, City Council, You have supported a crafted Farm Project Plan that gave the impression of a beautiful appearance of an ideal and respectful development for the Stoneridge community and City of Poway. Your director of development services and perhaps a questionable legal team, are sneaky enough to carry through a plan that would allow you to ignore public safety concerns, and make significant changes to increase the home square footages, minimize setbacks, and the list goes on ... All of this without any input from the City of Poway residents following the vote. However, what was not included, for you to have permission and to be allowed to ignore concerns from Stoneridge residents for their safety, livelihood, financial loss and their true best interests. Jalisi 3 of 18 2May2023 1 May 2, 2023, Public Comment Negligence and pretend oversight are not acceptable. In the council meeting Nov 17,2022, the nearby residents that have also been negatively affected by this artificial mountain expressed frustration with city officials for negligence and oversite. The significant flaws and lack of design considerations for the farm project has negatively impacted our livelihood, and specifically our safety. For the record, please refer to some of the communications and emails I have sent to your office over the past 3+ years, on The Farm matter regarding safety, intrusion, security, privacy and health of my family: • City Council Meeting-June 16, 2020 -safety, plan • Dave Devries Nov 1,2021 -safety, intrusion • Barry Leonard -Sept 9, 2022 -safety, health • Bob Manis Oct 21, 2022 -health, safety • Chris Hazeltine Oct 28, 2022 -privacy, security, health And one of the most recent debacles is the mosquito breeding ground that is being allowed to sit and fester for months. As a resident, why should I have to chase down resources for code compliance to be enforced when there is supposedly dedicated City Inspectors on-site daily! I hope I am being clear. This City organization has taken our livelihood hostage since 2018. I am telling you as a concerned family man from Poway, if you have a personal issue with me, please do not place the health and the safety of my family and children at risk. Jalisi 9 of 18 • Please stop the aggression and mistreatment of taxpayers of this city including us. • Please enforce the municipality and safety code. • Please act as a public servant per the Oath and Binding Contract you have taken. 2May2023 7 May 2, 2023, Public Comment Changes What if ..... .
