In regards to Sage at Old Coach, Agenda Items 8 and 10.
I recommend that these two items be tabled unl the related historical informaon can be provided to
the public and reviewed. In parcular:
- The FEIR for the OCGESP is not available in the atached agenda items for review.
- The original tract map for Sage at Old Coach is not included in the agenda packet.
- An area of the open space preserved is not divulged in the agenda packet.
- The subject of brush management was intenonally le out of the discussion which could affect
the wildlife corridor.
Because of these missing documents there is no way to for the public to be able to verify that no
significant changes and changes or impacts requiring subsequent supplemental environmental review.
A couple of points of concern:
Why wasn’t the proposed degraded open area near houses 1-5 used for home site 6?
Why wasn’t the new home site 6 considered for restoraon to open space which would enhance the
wildlife corridor?
Thank you for your consideraon.

Residents are worried investors, developers, builders, biologists and others are not following rules and procedures to
protect endangered habitat, wildlife, wildlife corridors and open space in Poway.
How is the city going to ensure the Sycamore Creek corridor remains wide and open to wildlife? Is there going to be a
lot of clearing around lot 6, similar to Chinmaya Mission’s clearing near Van Dam Peak’s Ecological Preserve?
How is the City of Poway going to ensure state and federal law, Poway’s Habitat Conservation Plan and the Natural
Resource Element are properly followed on this project? Residents have witnessed laws and rules broken.
