A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
POWAY, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE MASTER FEE
SCHEDULE TO ADD FEES RELATING TO PUBLIC NOTICES,
AND REMOVE REFERENCE TO REHEARING
WHEREAS, California Government Code section 66016 et seq. establishes procedures
for the adoption of fees for services by local government;
WHEREAS, on May 4, 2010, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 10-017, adopting a
Master Schedule of Fees;
WHEREAS, on March 19, 2019, the City Council introduced for a first reading an
Ordinance deleting Chapter 2.21 and amending Chapters 13.12, 16.10, 17.02, 17.40, 17.46,
17.47, 17.48 and 17.50 of the Poway Municipal Code;
WHEREAS, these amendments to the PMC necessitate corresponding amendments to
the Poway Master Fee Schedule to be properly implemented; and
WHEREAS, the proposed fees do not exceed the objectively reasonable costs that the
City will incur.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway as
follows:
SECTION 1: The foregoing recitals are true and correct, and incorporated into this
Resolution by this reference, as if fully set forth herein.
SECTION 2: The City Council finds that this amendment to the Master Fee Schedule is
not a "project" pursuant to CEQA.
SECTION 3: The City's Master Fee Schedule is hereby amended to add the following
fees under the Development Services fees, subcategory "Miscellaneous Permits & Activities"
(shown in underline), and delete the language shown in strikethrough:

Owners within 500 Feet
Appeals to City Council or Project Rehearing
