A RES0LUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
POWAY, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING THE COMMUNITY
SERVICES DEPARTMENT FACILITY USE RULES AND
REGULATIONS POLICY FOR USE OF CITY OF POWAY
COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT FACILITIES
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 05-097
WHEREAS, rules and regulations for op~ration of City of Poway park, recreation, and
cultural facilities that fall under the jurisdiction of the Community Services Department have
been established to provide for the public health, safety, and welfare; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary from time to time to update the rules and regulations for
use of City of Poway Community Services facilities; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that rules and regulations for operation of City of Poway
Community Services facilities be consistent with Chapter 9.48 of the Poway Municipal Code;
and
WHEREAS, the development of a Community Services Department Facility Use
Rules and Regulation Policy, which can be amended or added to in part by a Resolution or
Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Poway provides greater continuity and efficiency
in the promulgation of these rules
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway as
follows:
1. The Community Services Department Facility Rules and Regulations Policy for the
operation of Community Services facilities be adopted consistent with Chapter
9.48 of the Poway Municipal Code regarding Community Services Department
facility rules and regulations, as on file in the City Clerk's Office; and
2. Resolution 05-097 is hereby rescinded.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway at a
regular meeting this 18th day of December 2007. .
