RESOLUTION NO. 08-001
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING VOTING DELEGATE AND
AL TERNA TES TO THE CALIFORNIA JOINT
POWERS INSURANCE AUTHORITY (CJPIA) AND
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 07-061
WHEREAS, the City of Poway is a member of the California Joint Powers Insurance
Authority (CJPIA); and
WHEREAS, as a member, the City of Po way is entitled to all voting rights.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The following are designated as Director and Alternates of the
CJPIA for the City of Poway:
Director: Michael Cafagna, Mayor
Alternates: Merrilee Boyack, Councilmember
Robert Emery, Councilmember
Don Higginson, Councilmember
Betty Rexford, Councilmembef
Rod Gould, City Manager
Tina White, Director of Admin. Services
Peter Moote, Assistant Director of Administrative Services
2. Resolution No. 07-061 is hereby rescinded.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this 8th day of January 2008.
