RESOLUTION NO 08-020
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
COMMENDING EAGLE SCOUT
ANDY KANGAR-PARSI
WHEREAS, Andy Kangar-Parsi has fulfilled requirements in the areas of leadership,
service, and outdoor skills, and
WHEREAS, Andy Kangar-Parsi has advanced through the ranks of Scout,
Tenderfoot, 2nd Class, 1st Class, Star, Life, and Eagle, and
WHEREAS, Andy Kangar-Parsi has obtained 23 merit badges in various
educational, community-oriented, and sporting activities, which signify the mastery of
Scoutcraft skills, and
WHEREAS, Andy Kangar-Parsi has completed the community service project
demonstrating participatory and leadership skills within his patrol and/or troop
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Poway
hereby commends Eagle Scout Andy Kangar-Parsi for his efforts and achievements in
Scouting.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway at
the regular meeting this 15th day of April 2008
