RESOLUTION NO 08-048
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
CALIFORNIA, DIRECTING REVIEW OF THE CITY OF POWAY CONFLICT OF
INTEREST CODE
WHEREAS, the Political Reform Act requires every local agency to review its
Conflict of Interest Code biennially to determine whether an amendment is necessary or
not; and
WHEREAS, the Political Reform Act requires every local agency to direct a
review of the Code by July 1 of each even-numbered year; and
WHEREAS, this review must be completed and a notice of determination must
be submitted to the City Council, as the code-reviewing body, by October 1 of each
even-numbered year
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
that the City Attorney and City Clerk are hereby directed to review the Conflict of
Interest Code on behalf of City staff, all departments of the City, and designated City
Boards and Commissions, and to provide specific notice to the Council by October 1,
2008, either that an amendment is necessary or an amendment is not necessary
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this 1 st day of July 2008
