RESOLUTION NO 08-061
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING THE CONVEYANCE
TO THE POWAY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
OF A VACATED PORTION OF METATE LANE
BETWEEN COMMUNITY ROAD AND RICK STREET
WHEREAS, the City of Poway has vacated a portion of Metate Lane between
Community Road and Rick Street per the Resolution ordering the Vacation of a Portion
of Metate Lane between Community Road and Rick Street, approved July 15, 2008,
and
WHEREAS, by operation of law, City of Poway, being the current property owner
(i.e, Lot 48, Map No 11742) abutting said portion of the vacated street and successor
in interest to the County of San Diego to certain portion of the vacated street, retains the
reversionary rights to ownership, and
WHEREAS, said vacated portion of Metate Lane IS necessary for the
development of Tentative Tract Map No 06-06, approved by City Council Resolution
No P-07-36 on August 7,2007
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
as follows
1 Approves the conveyance of the vacated interest to the Poway Redevelopment
Agency
2 Authorizes the City Manager to execute on behalf of the City all documents
necessary to convey the vacated interest to the Redevelopment Agency,
including a Grant Deed
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting this 15th day of July 2008
