RED LIGHT PHOTO CITATION PROGRAM
Item introduced by City Manager Bowersox. Staff report by Director of
Engineering Services Weston. Only two of the five intersections were operational
for the full three-month reporting period, and tickets were only able to be
issued to 18% of the photos taken due to various factors including poor picture
quality. However, there appears to be a positive influence on driver behavior
and general traffic safety. Staff will prepare a one-year follow-up repoYt.
