RESOLUTION NO 08-064
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
COMMENDING EAGLE SCOUT
MATTHEW HERMAN
WHEREAS, Matthew Herman has fulfilled requirements in the areas of leadership,
service, and outdoor skills, and
WHEREAS, Matthew Herman has advanced through the ranks of Scout,
Tenderfoot, 2nd Class, 1st Class, Star, Life, and Eagle, and
WHEREAS, Matthew Herman has obtained 23 merit badges in various educational,
community-oriented, and sporting activities, which signify the mastery of Scoutcraft skills,
and
WHEREAS, Matthew Herman has completed the community service project
demonstrating participatory and leadership skills within his patrol and/or troop
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Poway
hereby commends Eagle Scout Matthew Herman for his efforts and achievements in
Scouting
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway at
the regular meeting this 5th day of August 2008
