tennis court on a residential lot in the Planned Community (PC) zone, A Minor
Developrnent Review (MDRA) 01-041 was approved for a sing'e~family residence,

WHEREAS,on November 13, 2001, the City CouncIl helcj a duly adVertised public
hearing to solicit comments from the public, both pro and:con, relative to this application;
and
NOW, THEREFORE,.lhe City Council does hereby-resolve as follows:
Section 1: The City Council finds that Minor Conditional Use Permit 01-002 lis
C,ategQfjealiy Exempt from the 'provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act,
pursuant to Section 1530t(a) Class 1 exemption, in that the proposed installation 'is a
minor alteration to an approvea $ingle-family residence:involvlng electrical equipment.
Section 2: The findings, in accorqancewith Secti9n 17 48.070 of the Poway Municipal
Code'to approve a Minor ConditionCil' Use Permit for MCUP 01'-002~ to install 8 lights, a .

A. The design of the proposed'tennis courtlightingwill me.eftherequired Iightirigtype,
height limit, and operating,hours, and will otherwise comply with all of'the relevqllt
codes and,standardsofthe Gity of Po way, The proposed use is considered to be
an allowable accessory use in the PC zone, with the approval ofa Minor ConditionaL
Use Permit. Therefore, 'the proposed location,:size, design, and operating
characteristics of the; proposed.use are:in accordance with the title and purpose of
Section 1:7.48;070, the purpose of the:zone .in wnich the site is located, the City
General Plan, and theidevelopment policies and standards of the City
