RESOLUTION NO 08-086
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
COMMENDING EAGLE SCOUT
MATTHEW E. WARD
WHEREAS, Matthew E. Ward has fulfilled requirements in the areas of leadership,
service, and outdoor skills, and
WHEREAS, Matthew E. Ward has advanced through the ranks of Scout,
Tenderfoot, 2nd Class, 1st Class, Star, Life, and Eagle, and
WHEREAS, Matthew E. Ward has obtained 22 merit badges in various educational,
community-oriented, and sporting activities, which signify the mastery of Scoutcraft skills,
and
WHEREAS, Matthew E. Ward has completed the community service project
demonstrating participatory and leadership skills within his patrol and/or troop
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Poway
hereby commends Eagle Scout Matthew E. Ward for his efforts and achievements in
Scouting.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway at
the regular meeting this 9th day of December 2008
