A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCII_
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
COMMENDING EAGLE SCOUT
RYAN JAMES HEGSTAD
WHEREAS, Ryan James Hegstad has fulfilled requirements in the areas of
leadershifJ, service, and outdoor skills, and
WHEREAS, Ryan James Hegstad has advanced through the ranks of Scout,
Tenderfoot, 2nd Class, 1st Class, Star, Life, and Eagle, and
WHEREAS, Ryan James Hegstad has obtained 29 merit badges in various
educational, community-oriented, and sporting activities, which signify the mastery of
Scoutcraft skills, and
WHEREAS, Ryan James Hegstad has completed the community service project
demonstrating participatory and leadership skills within his patrol and/or troop
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Poway
hereby commends Eagle Scout Ryan James Hegstad for his efforts and achievements in
Scouting
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Po way at
the regular meeting this 9th day of December 2008
