AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFOi~NIA
AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT BETWEEN TEE CITY COUNCIL AND
THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION OF THE CALIFORNIA
PUBLIC EMPLOYEESt RETIREMENT SYSTEM
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That a Contract between the City Council of the
California Public Employees' Retirement System is hereby authorized, a
copy of said Contract being attached hereto, marked "Exhibit A", and such
reference made a part hereof as though herein set out in full.
Section 2. The Mayor of the City Council is hereby authorized,
empowered, and directed to execute said Contract for and on behalf of said
Agency.
Section 3. It is necessary to provide for the government of the
City including the Services of employees, to protect and preserve the
public peace, health and safety, and therefore this Ordinance shall take
effect immediately.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Poway at a regular meeting thereof held this 27th day of January, 1981 by
the following called vote:
