RESOLUTION NO 99-060
A RESOLUTION OF THE.CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE
SUMMARY VACATION OF A PORTION OF AN EXISTING DEDICATION
FOR ROADWAY PURPOSES LOCATED WITHIN PARCEL 1 OF MAP NO 9919,
RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER
OF SANDIEGO COUNTY ON APRIL 17, 1980
(Vacation No, 99-01)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway desires to summarily vacate certain
roadway easements in accordance with the procedures provided in Chapter 4, Part 3,
Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, commencing at
Section 8330; and
WHEREAS, the Irrevocable Offer of Dedication for Roadway Purposes described by
the attached document was dedicated to the County of San Diego recorded March 19,
1980, as Doc. No. 80-094348 of Official Records; and
WHEREAS, the City of Poway became a successor-in-interest to the Irrevocable Offer
of Dedication upon its incorporation on December 1, 1980,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway as
follows:
1 This summary vacation is made under the provisions of Chapter 4, Part 3,
Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
2. The City Council hereby finds that the herein described roadway easement is
unnecessary since surrounding properties have developed without the need for
this public street.
3 The City Council hereby declares that the following roadway easement is
vacated:
See attached legal description entitled Exhibit "A" and plat entitled Exhibit "B"
4 The City Clerk of the City of Poway is hereby directed to cause a certified copy
of this re'solution to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of San
Diego County in accordance with the provisions of Section 8336 of the Streets
and HighWays Code.

of San Diego, State of California, fIled in the Office of the COlUlty Recorder of Said COlUlty
on April 17, 1980 as File No, 80-1:31562 of Official Records, lying.within a 60.00 foot wide
strip of land, the sidelines of said. strip lying 30 00 feet on each side of the following
described centerline
Commencing at the Northeasterly corner of Parcel 1, thence along Northerly line of Parcel 1
North 880 11' 53" West 279,90 feet to the True,Point of Beginning, said point being 735.00
feet westerly from the Northeast corner of Lot 3 in Section 7; Township 14 South, Range 1
