AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA PROVIDING
FOR POWAY MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT'S AND POMERADO COUNTY
WATER DISTRICT'S ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS AND OPERATING
POLICIES TO REMAIN IN EFFECT, AND DECLARING THE URGENCY
THEREOF.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Pursuant to the provisions of Section 35441 of the Government
C~de of the State of California, all Ordinances, Resolutions and operating
policies adopted by Poway Municipal Water District and Pomerado County Water
District applicable to the area now within the boUndarie~ of the City of Poway
are hereby adopted by reference and shall remain in full force and effect as
Ordinances, Resolutions and operating policies of the City of Poway for a period
of 120 days from and after date hereof, provided, however, that any such Poway
Municipal Water District's and Pomerado County Water District's Ordinances,
Resolutions and operating policies hereby adopted and continued in effect shall
expire and terminate on such earlier date as a City Ordinance shall be enacted
specifically referring thereto and stating an intention to supercede the same.
Section 2: This Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public peace, health and safety and shall take effect immediately.
