A RESOLUTION OF THE CiTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWic,y,
CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING VOTING DELEGATE AND
ALTERNATES TO THE CALIFORNIA JOINT
POWERS INSURANCE AUTHORITY (CJPIA) AND
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 08-001
WHEREAS, the City of Powa\, is a member of the California Joint Powers Insurance
Authority (CJPIA); and
WHEREAS, as a member, the City of Poway is entitled to all voting rights.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The following are designated as Director and Alternates of the
CJPIA for the City of Poway:
Director: Michael Cafagna, Mayor
Alternates: Merrilee Boyack, Councilmember
Jim Cunningham, Councilmember
Don Higginson, Councilmember
Betty Rexford, Councilmember
Rod Gould, City Manager
Tina White, Director of Administrative Services
Peter Moote, Assistant Director of Administrative Services
2 Resolution No. 08-001 is hereby rescinded.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this 6th day of January, 2009.
