DECLARING THE CITY'S INTENJTOVACATE
A PORTION OF TEMPLE STREET AND A PORTION OF BRIGHTON AVENUE
(Vacation Nos, 09-01 and '09-02)
WHEREAS, the CityC,oLJncil of the City of Poway ihtends to vacate a portion of
Temple Street and a portiq'n o( Brighton Avenue, loc:atedeast of Midlahd Road, and
between Edgemoor Street and Adrian Street, in accordance with the procedures
provided in Part 3,commencing',atSection 8300, of Division 9 of the State of California
Streetsand:Highways Code; and
WHEREAS; said-portions of streets were dedicated ,for public street purposes
through the filing and recordation of the "Piermont"subdivision on May 27, 1887; and
WHEREAS, ,said portions of Temple Street and Brighton Avenue are excess
rights-of-way not required for public street purposes; ,and
WHEREAS, pursuanfto the procedures proviCledtherefore in said Chapter of the
Streets and Highways Code, a public hearing shall be held for the street vacation,

Poway, California, as follows:
