AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING A SPEED LIMIT FOR
TWIN PEAKS ROAD BETWEEN POMERADO
AND ESPOLA ROADS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section l: Pursuant to Section 22357 of the California Vehicle Code per-
mitting the establishment of local speed limits based on an engineering and
traffic survey, Section 72.161.58 of the City of Poway Regulatory Ordinances
is hereby amended to read as follows:
A. Section 72.161.58. The prima facie speed limit on Twin
Peaks Road from the east line of Pomerado Road to the
west line of Espola Road is hereby established at 45 MPH.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30)
days after the date of its passage; and before the expiration of fifteen (15)
days after its passage, it shall be published once with the names and members
voting for and against the same in the Poway News Chieftain, a newspaper of
general circulation published in the City of Poway.
Introduced and first read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Poway held the 12th day of June, 1984, and thereafter PASSED and
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said City Council held the 19thday of June ,
1984 by the following roll Call vote:
