RESOLUTION NO. 87-152
r A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF T~E CITY OF PQ,WAY, CALIFORNIA,
ACCEPTING THE DEOICATION FOR STREET PURPOSES
; OF THAT CERTAIN ONE~FOOT WIDE STRIP 'OF LAND LYING WITHIN
COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO TRACT MAP 2928-1, MAP NO. 6950: FAIRGATE DRIVE
WHEREAS, on the map of County of San Diego Trac~ 2928-1, recorded on June 1,
1971, as Map No, 6950, in the Office of the County Recorder, there is offered
for dedication for street purposes a certain one-foot wide strip at the westerly
end of Fairgate Dive, and
WHEREAS, on said map th'e County of San Diego rejected the offer of dedica-
tion of said one-foot ~idi strip as hereinafter more particularly described, and
WHEREAS, the State of California Government Code (Subdivision Map Act),
Section 66477.2(a) provides that a rejected offe~ of dedication shall remain
open and may be accepted by resolution at any later date, and
WHEREASE, because ~f the extension of Midland Road south of Poway Road to
Fairgate Drive, it is in the best pUblic interest o,f the City of poway that said
one-foot wide strip now be accepted for public use for street purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Poway does resolve, deter-
mine, and order as follows:
( 1. The City of Poway hereby rescinds the rejection of said strip,
and, does hereby ~tcept for publi~ use for street purposes the
following:
That portion of Lots 17 and 18 designated "Portion of Lots 17
and 18 Reserved for Future Street" on the map of the County of
San.Oiego Tracb2928=I, recorded on June 1, 1971, as Map No.
6950, in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County,
Ca 1 i fornia.
2. The Cliy Cl erk 1 s hereby authorl zed and dl rected to cert Hy to
the passage of thls resolution and to cause lis recordation in
the Office of the Recorder of San Drego County.
