PURPOSES Itl: PORTIONS OF LOTS, 16,17, 18, AND 19
OF !I',HE ,COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO, ;PARCEL MAP NO. 248.9
WHEREAS, an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication for Public
Highway Pu'l7poses, to the County of Sari Diego in portions of
Lots' 16, 17, 18, and 19' ,of Parcel Map 2489 has been recorded
in the, office of the, Recorder of San Diego County on March 27,
1974, a{ File/Page No. 74-076247, and
WHEREAS, the Sta~e gf California Government Code
(Subdivision Map Act) Section 66477.2 provides that a
rejected offer of dedication shall remain op-el1 and may
be accepted by resolution at a later date., and
WHEREAS.. the Ci'ty of poway became ,the successor in
interest of said Irrevocable ,Offer of bedication upon its
incorporation on December 1, 1980, 'and
WHEREAS; Tentative Tract Map No. 85-04 was approved by
the City C6i.1hcil of the City of poway per" Resolution No.
P-85-69, and
WHEREAS, improvements on said City of, poway Tract No.
[ 85-04 requires the connection and installation of new
sewer an"d/or water lines from Welton Reservoir, and
WHEREAS, theloc::ation of said new sewer and/or water
lines to service said City of poway Tract No, 85-04 is in
that area as described in said Irrevocable Offer of Dedi-
cation, and
WHEREAS, the acceptance of said Irrevocable Offer of
Dedication will satisfy the requirement of an off-site
sewer, and/or ~!ater~asement acquisition, and'eventual
dedicat:lon to the' Ci'ty of, poway by the developers and/or
oWllers of said'rentative Tract Map No. 85-04, and '
WIIEREAS, it is in the best public interest of the City
of ~oway tha~ said Irrevocable pffer of Dedication be now
accepted for "public use for public highway purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it r:esolved that fl,e City Council
of the City of poway does det:ermlne and order as follows:
