offered; for 'dedication .for street purposes a certain one-foot wide strip
adjoining Montauk St., designated ~s Lot E on said map, and
WHEREAS, 'on the map. of the Tustin Hills I Unit 1" subdivision, recorded on
January 12, 1960, as Map .No. 4~42, in the office ,of the County Recorder, there
is offered, for dedication for street purposes a certain one-foot wide strip
aqj.oinipg Met~te Lane, de'signated 'as Lot C on said map, and
WHEREAS"-, on said -maps the Board- of- SupervI.sors of- the County of San Di"ego-
rejected the offers of. dedication of" said one-foot wide strips as hereinafter
more ,particularly described, and, .
WHEREAS, the Statecjf California Government Code (S,ubdivision Map Act)
Section 66477. 2(a) provides. th'at a rejected offer. of dedication shall remain
open and may be accepted 'by resolution at any later date~ and
WHEREAS, upon incorporation" the ,c;i ty of poway became the successor in
interest to the offers of, ded,l:cation of said strips., and
WHEREAS" it is in the 'best public interest:. of the City of poway that
said one-foot wide strips be: now accepted for public use for street purposes.
'- NOW, THEREFORE, the-City' Council of the City-of poway does resolve;--
determine, and order as follows:

1. The city of poway hereby rescinds the rejection of said strips,
