RESOLUTION -OF THE CITY 'COUNCIL
. OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ANNEXING TERRITORY TO,THE
SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
OF THE CITY OF POWAY
STREHLAU ANNEXATION
WHEREAS,, the property,'described in Exhibit Arequires sewer service; and
WHEREAS, property must be;.within the Sewer_. Improvement District to receive
sewer,:service; and
WHEREAS.,, .the City. Councilr,of the City- of ;Poway has; reviewed .and considered
the :annexation of the property to Sewer -ImprovementDistrict of the City"of Poway.
NOW, THEREFORE;.BE IT RESOLVED that
1. .The territory to be annexed is as described in Exhibit A.
2.. The conditions of,annexation area
a. The payment,of the sum of $400.00. -to the City of Poway for.
the right and.:use of all existing,property, real and personal
of the Sewer'FIinprovement District. i
b. The ,payment of all costs, of s'aid.annexation, including but not
.limited.tf6 advertising, engineering.,and attorney's fees.
3. The inclusi'on,of•the territory in the Sewer Improvement District
is in the best -interest of the,land ownersand the City of Poway..
4. The annexationlhas been reviewed, pursuant to the provisions of the
-CaliforniaEnvironmental Quality .Act,,.as amended, and the annexation
is a pr`oject._that will not have a signi�fi�cant effect on the environ-
ment. The "Noticeof Exemption" supporting the findings is attached
hereto as Exhibit.B.
5. No City tax;.split'..shall�occur due to this annexation. The property
is within the, -corporate boundary of the: City of Poway and the
annexation is to an improvement district within the City.
6. The annexation ofthe territory described in Exhibit A shall
become effective -immediately upon„passage .of the Resolution.
7. The 'City -Ierk7 shall make thet necessary filings required by law.
