RESOLUTION NO. P-09-33
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING STREET NAME CHANGE 08-01
WHEREAS, Street Name Change 08-01, submitted by General Atomics
Aeronautical Systems, Inc., is a request to change the name of that portion of Gateway
Place between Scripps Poway Parkway and Kirkham Way to General Atomics Way;
and
WHEREAS, the request is in compliance with the City's Street Naming Policy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Poway, as follows:
Section 1: The City Council hereby approves Street Name Change 08-01 to re-name
that portion of Gateway Place between Scripps Poway Parkway and Kirkham Way to
General Atomics Way.
Section 2: Prior to the name change being effective, the applicant shall pay for all
costs in replacing the street sign.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
State of California, at a regular meeting this 6th day of October 2009.
