AN CRDINANCE OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING A SP~ TJMIT FOR
STONE CANYON ROAD ~ POMERADO AND
MARTINCOIT ROADS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Purs,,ant to Section 22357 of the California vehicle Code per-
mitting the establishment of local s~ limits based on an engineering and
traffic survey, Section 72.160 of the City of Poway Regulatory Ordinances is
hereby amended to add the following:
Section 72.161.59. The prima facie s~c~ limit on Stone Canyon Road
frcm Pcmerado Road to 500 feet west of Fallen Leaf Road and from Fallen
L~f Road to Martincoit Road is hereby established at 35 miles per
ho~r.

Section 72.161.60. The prima facie s~ limit on Stone Canyon l~Dad
frc~ Fallen L~af Road to 500 feet west of Fallen Leaf Road is hereby
established at 25 miles per hour.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days
after the date of its passage; and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days
after its passage, it shall be published once with the names and members voting
for and against the same in the Powal; News Chieftain, a newspaper of general
circulation published in the City of Poway.
Introduced and first read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
city of Poway held the 22nd day of May, 1984, and ther~fter PASSED AND ADOPTED
at a regular ~m=cting of said City Council held the 29th day of May, 1984, by the
following roll call vote:
