AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF POWAY, C~LTFORNIA
AMENDING S~TION 8.12.080
OF THE POWAY ~3NICIPAL (/]DE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 8.12.080 of the Poway Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
Sec. 8.12.080 ESTABLISHMENT PLAN REVI~N. Every applicant for a permit or
license required by this division shall, prior to obtaining a building permit,
opening a new es~_mhlishment, or upon remodeling of an old establishment, sutmzit
to the Health Officer a plan of the proposed establishment detailing all equip-
ment, materials and facilities necessary to comply with the Uniform Retail Food
Facilities Law, and/or all applicable City ordinances or regulations, accc~-
panied by a fee as set forth by resolution to cover the cost of said review.
The Health Officer shall review said plans and specifications and shall deter-
mine whether they are in accordance with the requir~nents of law. In the event
that the plans and specifications do not comply with the applicable provisions
of law, amended plans and specifications may be suhnitted to the Health Officer
for re-review and approval, and the fee for such re-review, as set forth by
resolution, payable to the Health Officer in advance.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty
(30) days after the date of its passage; and before the expiration of fifteen
(15) days after its passage, it shall be published once with the names and mem-
bers voting for and against the same in the Poway News Chieftain, a newspaper of
general circulation published in the City of Poway.
Introduced and first read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Poway held the 16th day of July, 1985, and ther~fter PASSED DAD ADOPI~D
at a regular meeting of said City Council held the 30th day of July, 1985, by
the following roll call vote:
