AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF POWAY~ CALIFORNIA
AMENDING SECTION 8.60.141(2) OF THE POWAY
MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING REQUIREMENTS
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SEPTIC SYSTEMS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY DOES ORDAIN
that Section 8.60.141(B) shall be amended to read as
follows:
(B)
No septic system shall be installed
on a parcel of land less than one
acre in size, unless the Director
of Public Services determines that
the parcel cannot be economically
served by City sewers and is in an
area that has not experienced septic
system failures in the past.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty
(30) days after the date of its passage, and before the ex-
piration of fifteen (15) days after its passage, it shall
be published once with the names and members voting for and
against the same in the Poway News Chieftain, a newspaper
of general circulation published in the City of Poway.
Introduced and first read at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Poway held the 15th day of October,
1985, and thereafter PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting
of said City Council held the 22nd day of October, 1985 by
the following roll call vote:
